SEALANT AND ACRYLIC ADDITIVE

Uses and applications

Adhesive for bonding new concrete to old concrete, mortar flattened, plaster, pore sealant in flattened form, etc.
As an adherent additive: dispersing the additive with water and dosing the solution with cement and aggregates, concrete floor reparation, to reinforce low quality paint.
As sealant: Prior to the paint application, for old surfaces. Prior to the mortar application, for porous surfaces.
Highly recommended to integrate into the mixture of mortars and concrete, to improve adhesiveness and mechanical properties, also improves the plasticity of the mortar.

Surface preparation

The surface must be free of dust, oil and badly bonded materials to achieve an adequate adherence. If the chosen surface has another coating, it must be removed using mechanical or other means to ensure the removal of the previous coating.

Product preparation

As an adherent additive: Mix 4 to 5 litres of PLASTIBOND 1000 per sack of cement of 50 kg, sand and water according to the desired consistency, the mixture is applied as normal mortar.
As sealant: PLASTIBOND 1000 is diluted with water and applied with roller or brush on a clean and dust free surface.
As adhesive of cement-based mixtures: 1 to 4 litres which must be diluted within the mixture.

Performance

As sealant 8 to 10 sq.m. per litre.

Precautions

Wash hands with clean water after using, avoid contact with eyes. If this happens, wash with running water for 15 minutes and see a doctor immediately. Keep out of reach of children.
