Uses and applications

Ideal for filling joints between pieces of ceramic coatings, jointing of floors and tiles
- Maximum adhesion in all types of coatings.
- Provides good bending properties.
- Good appearance of colour.
- High resistance to abrasion.

- High resistance to compression.

Surface preparation

Before preparing the mix, the surface must be free of dust, humidity, loose or spoiled paint, oil and badly bonded materials to achieve an adequate adherence.

Product preparation

a) Empty clean water into a container.
- For 40 kg, 10 litres of water.
- For 20 kg, 5 litres of water.
- For 10 kg, 2.5 litres of water.
- For 5 kg, 1.2 litres of water.
- For 2 kg, 0.5 litres of water.
- For 1 kg, 0.250 litres of water.
b) Empty COP JOINER into the container
c) Mix evenly until a pasty consistency is achieved. Let it set for 2 minutes.
d) Mix again and JOINER can be applied directly to the substrate.

Recommendations

Instructions for use:

1) Moisture the joints with a damp sponge.
2) Extend COP JOINER onto pieces by applying pressure to make it penetrate the slot.
3) Clean the COP JOINER excess left on the sides of the slot.
4) At the end joining, let it set 24 hours to be able to transit the area.

COP JOINER duration:

It is necessary to always prepare the right amount of mixture to be applied between 25 to 30 minutes, because the variation of weather conditions can directly affect this time and produce shrinkage. It is recommended to verify that the COP JOINER mixture is always fresh to the touch before applying.

Product life time:
Properly stored in a dry place: 12 months.

Performance

The performance depends on the opening and depth of the slot to be patched.
Approximately 3 mm is 25 to 30 sq.m. per sack of 20 kg. 12 to 15 sq.m. per sack of 10 kg. 6 to 7 sq.m. per sack of 5 kg. 111.2 sq.m. per sack of 1 kg

NOTE: These performances are approximate and for estimation purposes only. The performance may vary depending on the trowel used, the substrate condition and the installation.

Precautions

Wash hands with clean water after using, avoid contact with eyes. If this happens, wash with running water for 15 minutes and see a doctor immediately. Keep out of reach of children.
